STEPS recruitment process is structured to give you the best possible results:
Identify your requirements.
We pride ourselves on our high level of personal service. You will have a consultant who understands your area and your business. They will spend time with you clarifying your requirements and needs.
Advertising and sourcing candidates.
All vacancies are advertised on the National Vacancy database which is the most visited job site in Australia. Our own database will be searched for candidates that meet your requirements. With your agreement, we can compile newspaper advertisements that will also attract quality candidates. Our discounted advertising rates in local newspapers allow cost savings to be passed on to you.
Advertisement response/Initial screening.
Every person telephoning in response to an advertisement or specific job query is telephone screened by your consultant against the job requirements.
Assessment of candidates against your specific requirements.
All candidates will be interviewed by your consultant. The candidate will be assessed as to their suitability for the position by focusing on skills, experience and personal qualities required for the position.
Candidates are short listed.
Candidates that are the best match to the criteria are shortlisted for interview. You may use STEPS local offices for interviews if you wish. We can also arrange medicals and work capacity evaluations if you wish.
Post placement support.
You consultant will contact you on day one of the employee starting employment and then again in the first week to check their progress. We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with the candidate.
